UK Fingermark Symposium 2026
We are proud to be supporting this year's UK Fingermark Symposium.
ForenteQ Ltd and West Technology Forensics are delighted to once again be hosting this event.
This year we have moved to a larger venue to accommodate for demand as we were very much at full capacity last year. We are pleased to be holding this at Nottingham Trent University on 23rd June 2026.
The event, as per previous years, is going to be very much focused at bringing regional fingerprint practitioners and educational leads together for a dedicated technical event discussing the current challenges and potential solutions in fingermark enhancement, imaging and comparison.

Mirrorless Cameras
In the near future, you will want to consider a move from DSLR’s to mirrorless camera systems to capture low light images.
Explore New Equipment
This event is aimed at staff who work in Law Enforcement and Government Agencies. It's a great opportunity to talk with the camera and lens manufacturer representatives about sensitive techniques for image capture in low light.
The day will give you an opportunity to see and discuss with the Government specialists from Canon, Fuji, Nikon and Sony the latest mirrorless camera systems. The event will also be supported by companies such as Forensic Training Partnership, Axis, Milestone, Sigma, Tamron, Lexar, Bushnell and Hikmicro.
15 January 2025 - Howbery Business Park, Oxfordshire
There will be ample opportunity to test the equipment. To test the full capabilities of each camera and its evening/night time functions we are staying in place until 8pm. It starts to get dark from 4pm onwards. Being at Howbery Park, Wallingford, Oxfordshire is a great location to compare the equipment. To the rear of the Manor House you will find woodland leading down to the Thames, at night it’s very dark, to the front of the Manor House there are buildings and car parks with different types of lighting. There will be an opportunity to learn how to paint with light with Tonja Fritz-Johnson and test your skills at photographing a 'mock crime scene'...
