We tailor courses and programs to what our clients need, whether CPD or initial courses. Therefore we like initial discussions to ensure we offer the best fit.
Typically between one day to six weeks depending on the course. This is individually discussed and agreed with the client to make sure we cover the knowledge areas required.
The cost of training in any law enforcement agency is significant, so candidates who offer this level of training already are of particular interest to potential employers .

No, but a link to a law enforcement agency or previous forensic knowledge or qualification is helpful.
Currently courses are delivered in person, however, depending on demand we will be developing some online modules.
Attendees will receive a certificate, we are currently seeking accreditation from the wider academic field.
Crime scene investigation is an active and practical profession and so are our courses. Of course there is an element of classroom teaching involved, but there is nothing like experiencing it hands on- and so we offer plenty of practice.

Six Week Initial CSI Course - FAQ's
Situated close to Milton Keynes and Bedford, the Cranfield campus is situated in Wharley End, very close to Cranfield village, and is about 10 minutes from the M1 motorway. There is rail and road access to most major airports as well as coach and train stations. Cranfield campus also has its own airport for private executive business travel.

This course is non-residential. If you would like to book accommodation on campus, please contact Mitchell Hall (60 en-suite rooms) or Cranfield Management Development Centre (186 en-suite rooms) directly. Further information about the on campus accommodation can be found by CLICKING HERE. Alternatively you may wish to make your own arrangements at a nearby hotel.

We have a number of other courses in the pipeline (including an advanced CSI course which is due to run in early 2024). We also run a number of CPDs which are very much Force specific which we can run those in Force - normally for one or two days.
We are planning the timetable for the next 12 months. For 2023 our course starts on Monday 30th October. Please register your interest for additional dates in 2024 and we will advise immediately once the dates have been fixed.
